Women’s health at Carindale Doctors is led by GPs who make time to talk things through properly, rather than rushing a ten-minute slot. Whether you need contraceptive advice, support through perimenopause or a confidential sexual health check, appointments are long enough to cover what’s going on and what you’d like to do about it. We see patients at every stage of life and try to keep you with the same GP, so you’re not repeating your history at every visit.
Family planning and maternity care sit alongside this. We offer pre-conception advice, pregnancy confirmation and antenatal shared care with your chosen hospital, plus a six-week postnatal check for you and your baby. If you have an Implanon or Mirena, our GPs handle insertion, replacement and removal onsite with proper time set aside. Every consultation is confidential, and we’re happy to go through your options more than once if that helps.

Our GPs are comfortable with children of every age, and appointments run at a pace that keeps a nervous toddler, or a nervous parent, at ease. We deliver the full National Immunisation Program schedule, developmental and growth checks, and the four-year-old health assessment, so progress can be tracked with the same GP over time instead of starting fresh each visit.
Vaccinations aren’t just for children either, we also cover adult, travel, occupational and seasonal immunisations, including catch-up schedules if you’ve fallen behind. For growing families, maternity care continues in partnership with your chosen hospital through antenatal shared care, with a six-week postnatal check once you’re home. Records stay on file with your regular GP for a clear history at every future visit.

Medical certification, without the runaround.
Commercial driver and heavy-vehicle licence medicals are completed to the national Assessing Fitness to Drive standard, and we also handle taxi, rideshare and other passenger-transport driver authorisations, so the paperwork gets done properly the first time. Appointments are booked with enough time to complete the full assessment in one visit wherever possible.
For workplace matters, we prepare initial WorkCover certificates and conduct review consultations, liaising directly with your employer and insurer on return-to-work planning so you’re not relaying information between the two. Pre-employment and workplace urine and drug screening is also available, handled confidentially, with paperwork usually turned around in the same visit.

Minor procedures, done properly, close to home.
Skin excisions and biopsies are performed onsite, so a suspicious spot or lesion can be removed there and then rather than through a separate referral and a longer wait. Results are explained clearly, with a follow-up plan if anything needs further treatment.
Beyond skin excisions, our GPs handle a range of minor procedures and wound care, from dressings and suturing to ear microsuction, all within a standard visit to the practice. If something is better managed by a specialist, we’ll say so early and organise the referral, rather than working through it by trial and error.

We're a mixed billing practice. Children 16 and under are bulk billed, as are patients 65 and over for their initial consultation. Health Care Card and pension card holders receive a discount on standard consultations. Reception will confirm any out-of-pocket cost before your appointment.
We hold same-day slots each morning for urgent concerns, alongside advance bookings for routine care. Call reception or book online to check today's availability.
Yes, new patients are welcome, including for women's health, family planning, skin procedures and occupational medicals. Bring photo ID and your Medicare card to your first appointment.
We do. Our GPs conduct commercial driver licence medicals, taxi and rideshare assessments, urine and drug testing, and WorkCover claim and review consultations.
Results are reviewed by your GP and discussed by phone or at a follow-up appointment. We'll always let you know if a result needs to be actioned.
